El Ministro de Gobernación, Francisco Rivas, expresó agradecimiento al Inguat pues les sorprendió el apoyo que mostró dicha entidad. «La cooperación que nos dan para realizar los patrullajes servirá para combatir a las estructuras que afectan a los turistas», expresó.
Además comentó que se han disminuido los robos a turistas que visitan el país. En la actividad estuvo presente el director del Inguat, Jorge Mario Chajón y el director de la Policía Nacional Civil (PNC), Nery Ramos. En tanto, Rivas realizó un recorrido por el Paseo de la Sexta en una de las bicicletas donadas.
